Hello! All of us here at AEL Environment (formerly Aeon Egmond Ltd) are excited to welcome you to our new BLOG. This endeavour has been initiated by AEL in an effort to provide relevant, up to date, technical information regarding issues related to the environmental site assessment and clean-up. By offering this information in an easy to follow topic based blog format we hope to provide you with easily available and quickly digestible information on various environmental topics.

We also hope to create a forum for discussion on any of the topics which are posted here. This will help us to understand what the market is looking for relative to our service offering and how we can make improvements, so feel free to let us know what you would like to see. We at AEL see this as paramount in fostering interdisciplinary relationships and broadening the scope of discussion. What better way to understand the impact of a topic than having property owners and developers, engineers, lawyers, scientists, planning officials, regulators and other interested parties provide their viewpoints on an issue? Through these types of open discussions we will be able to gain an understanding of the full scope of an issue and as well develop future blog topics to post about. In short….please feel free to reply to any of our blog posts with questions, comments, and suggestions for future topics. Let’s increase collaboration, creativity and understanding in the environmental field!

So now that you have an understanding of our philosophy and vision for this new blog, I will give a brief overview of our company. We are a niche environmental engineering firm focused on site assessment and remediation work. We operate out of two offices in the Greater Toronto Area (west and east) completing projects across Canada. With senior and intermediate level engineers at our disposal, supported by a dedicated team of scientists and field techs, we are able to provide solutions to a variety of engineering problems within our scope of services that include a number of innovative on-site testing and data management tools. Our goal is to provide best site management solutions through a variety of cost and time saving methods. Having completed projects from Phase I Environmental Site Assessments all the way to remediation and site closure, with budgets ranging from as little as a few thousand dollars to over $500,000 , AEL has a proven track record of success in the environmental engineering industry.
